Clean-up

Today baby girl and I spent some time cleaning up our mess of a yard from hurricane Irene! Thankfully all the giant trees surrounding our house are still standing, but their branches, limbs, and leaves were thrown all over the yard like lawn darts! So we decided to help Daddy out by cleaning up what we could. She is such a great helper and gathered as many sticks as she could!




We also thought there was a stick attached to "mommy's car", but quickly found out it was a stick bug! So cool, don't think I've really seen one like this before!




Saying prayers for everyone affected by the hurricane! We were very lucky to have only lost power for about 24 hours. Our neighbors right down the street (must be different power grid) still don't have any electricity! They have heard they probably won't until Friday morning! That is about $50 a day in generator costs only to keep the freezer running!
